Due to our busy schedule, consultations, tastings, and sketches are reserved for cakes serving 100 people or more... and that does not include servings from sheet cakes or "kitchen cakes." For all others, we offer phone consultations, as most of these cakes can be designed by telephone, email, and fax.

Face-to-face consultations are by appointment only and are held two Sundays per month at Midtown Place, which is located at 3708 Benson Drive, Raleigh, NC 27609 (not far from the North Raleigh Hilton).

Delivery within 30 miles of U.S. zip code 27513 is FREE!

Anything over 30 miles is $2.00 per mile beyond the free 30 (that's one-way... we don't charge you twice for our return home). For example, if you are 31 miles from us, your delivery would cost $2.00 + sales tax. If you are 130 miles from us, your delivery would cost $200 + sales tax. If your delivery is out of state (from NC), you do not pay sales tax on the delivery charge (or on the cake, for that matter).

Please note: "Delivery" is Swank Cake Design driving your cake to your event; it is NOT your cake being commercially shipped (ie Fedex, UPS). "Delivery" also means that we will set up your cake in it's final presentation area as long as that area is ready when we arrive (table in place, table covering on). We do not charge an additional "set up" fee.

We deliver Monday thru Saturday, during our business hours (8am-5pm). Earlier and later deliveries can also be arranged. We will need a specific delivery time and a contact person at the destination for ALL cake orders; furthermore, this information MUST be provided to us at least 24 hours before the delivery time.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer deliveries on Sundays. We do not ship our custom cakes. We do not offer the option of picking up your cake.

There is no set price list for our cakes because they are priced on a "per cake" basis. Final price depends on several factors including size, complexity of design, and premium options such as cakes covered in rolled fondant. Our minimum cake order is $150... All cakes include two hours of decorating time. Additional decoration is charged at $25 per hour of work. We will let you know in advance if your cake is going to take more than 2 hours to decorate.

*Each cake slice should measure 1 inch wide, 2 inches deep, and 5 inches tall. If you want larger servings, we will double the size for double the "per serving" price. Please inform your server to cut each slice to the above size if you wish to have the correct number of servings you requested.

The above prices do not include toppers, fresh flowers, cake stands, or anything else that must be purchased rather than made by us. Flowers may be supplied by your florist or by us. Flowers supplied by us will be quoted on an individual basis. Cake stands are available to rent from us. Please call or contact us for more information.
